When Sarah and her best friend, Dawn, witness a multi-car pile-up, they know something is seriously wrong in their small town – no police arrive, no ambulance, no neighbours, nobody.

Unable to summon assistance, the girls risk their lives to drag a young boy from a burning vehicle. Devastated when he dies, they go in search of answers. Instead they find bodies – stiff, rigid bodies, locked in their final moment, everywhere they turn.

Surrounded by frozen bodies and with no one to turn to for help, Sarah and Dawn decide to leave.

But then the bodies start to disappear, and soon the girls are running for their lives.
