Born, raised and based in Brooklyn, New York alto saxophonist Nick Green comes out of the gate swingin' backed by an all-star band including Joe Magnarelli on trumpet, Jeb Patton on piano, Mike Karn on bass and Kenny Washington on drums. Green is a disciple of alto saxophonist Charles McPherson and he boasts a big, warm and robust tone. Green On The Scene is a wonderfully swinging date.
