Masterpiece of rehabilitation? Or inhumane nightmare?

In the near future, the Redemption government initiative seeks to rehabilitate the incarcerated by immersing them in virtual worlds. It's cheaper, and it keeps criminals off the street. Martin, recently arrested and on parole, decides to participate in the program to reduce his sentence.

The only catch? His body will be preserved in a cryo pod while his consciousness is transported into a scenario of his choosing. He ends up in the land of Vindication 2.0, a remake of a classic MMORPG and a world of centaurs, elves, wraiths, and legendary monsters called Val.

Judged by the quests he completes and the people he saves -or kills- he must first learn how to play the rules and then how to tread the fine line between good and evil. Surviving in the game is hard enough, but telling good from evil and friend from foe is harder than he ever imagined. In the land of Vindication, nothing is ever as simple as it seems.
