A snapshot of Caroline's thoughts on the Journey:

My belief is that every person longs to have contact with the Sacred. We all want to feel that spark of authentic grace, or as Teresa of Avila so aptly described it, we long for "God in the walls of our soul". My observation is that having faith today in anything, much less in the invisible world of the Sacred, is quite a challenge.

People want to have faith in something – and more to the point, we need to have faith in something greater than ourselves. We need to believe that some Divine force exists and life – our life, your life – actually matters. And further, that when you close your eyes and pray, prayers are not just "heard", they are responded to.

These are sacred mysteries, of course. Who knows how the Sacred works? But it does work, even within the paradox of confusing and painful times. Miracles are real and prayers are answered.
